Leaders from the Folsom Stake, Cordova Stake, Regional Communications Director met with Assemblyman Josh Hoover & Sacramento County Commissioner-elect Rosario Rodriguez on September 6 at Temple Hill. The meeting was attended by President White (Folsom Stk Presidency), President Draper (Folsom RS President), Mark Bahouth (Folsom Stk Communications), President Miller (Cordova Stk President), President Ralston (Cordova RS President), Wayne Jensen (Cordova Stk Communications), and Bruce Anderson (Sacramento Coordinating Council Communication Director). The focus of the meeting was to familiarize Assemblyman Hoover and Commissioner-elect Rodriguez with the Church at the regional level and the local level and to discuss how the Church can support the State and County with the problem of homelessness. Several ideas were considered, but more discussion is needed to find ways to connect civic needs with the Chruch's structure and policies.
